It only takes one word, one action, one thought.
Anxiety eats through me, like Bloody Mary’s onslaught.
I try not to think, but I think over and over.
I speak, and nothing makes sense, anxiety takes over.
Most times, I manage it and peace keeps me going.
Meditations in the morning, Chilled Cow tones flowing.
Inhale deeply, on repeat and taking in the calm.
Exhale gracefully, on repeat I push out fears.
Eliminating this moment, or rather shrinking it down.
Anxiety does not define me.
Anxiety does not define me.
There are times when I feel too anxious to go out for a morning run. Times when anxiety takes over. I push through, I do. Well, at least I try.
I understand your fears about running around the block and believing that everyone is watching you. Or attending the gym and thinking everyone is watching you. Or buying new clothes and thinking everyone is watching you. Or eating curry sauce and chips and thinking everyone is watching you.
We must all learn to push through!
We have weight-loss goals to achieve.
We have fitness goals to smash.
We have health goals to be proud about.
Anxiety does not define me.
