For the past few days, I’ve been feeling a bit sluggish. I guess it’s down to the current situation that our world is experiencing, which is causing me to feel a bit?
I haven’t been running since Saturday, and the plan was to return after two days rest. However, when I woke up Tuesday morning, I couldn’t peel myself out of bed, I felt overly tired and decided to sleep for another few hours. I did consider the fact that I’m due on my period soon, maybe that’s the reason why I’ve been feeling sleepy.
Today, I went out for a walk twice! This was to make up for missing my morning run on Tuesday and because I didn’t want to fall into a downward spiral where I continue to skip days. I was tough to get out, but I had to, not only for my physical health but also for my mental health. I’m grateful, as I’m aware may people up and down the UK aren’t allowed to leave their homes.
Although you may feel like there’s no point in going out to workout, I implore you to self-motivate and do it! At least 20 minutes, you can fit in a short run or a nice brisk walk in that time.
